Uniform

For official word on what patches go where, here’s a great resource. You can typically purchase scout uniforms at Army Navy outdoors (441 in Margate) or at the local scout shop at Council headquarters in Miami Lakes. Official scout materials including uniforms are available online here

Hi, I’m trying to figure out what my son needs by the end of the month when he crosses over into Troop 208. Does he need a new manual and full uniform by then? Please let me know so I can order stuff in time.

  He will cross over in his weblos uniform – the boy scout uniform is very similar. Soon after crossover he will need to remove his Weblos ribbon and cub scout rank badges from that shirt (except for the Arrow of light if he earns that). Your son will be assigned to a patrol (similar to a den) and will need to add the patrol patch to his uniform shirt. Hope this info helps, sorry I didn’t see this message sooner.
